Celia came to answer our questions about China. She showed us lots of pictures. We learnt that China has beautiful mountains and rivers. It is Summer there at the moment. We saw lots of parks and playgrounds for children. Celia brought in some delicious Chinese food for us to try. The spring rolls were our favourite. Thank you so much again for sharing so much about your culture with us. An author called Adam Millen came and read us a story about feelings. It was called 'Jack Feels Big'. We talked about feeling overwhelmed, persistance, being brave, feeling frustrated and feeling lonely. Skye also showed him how she was an author too. She showed Adam her book she wrote at home about the cat show.
At science on Thursday we learnt how ozobots worked. The colours on the lines told the robots where to go.
We made sandwiches on Friday. We tried to spread the butter right to the edges and then we put jam or marmite on. Some of us tried jam and marmite together at the same time. Yum!
